VIVA Bahrain

Viva bahrain, the newest addition to Bahrain's Telecommunication world. Viva Started with amazing network coverage, perfect service, and attractive marketing strategies. Viva at some point had the opportunit
y to become Bahrains leading Telecom company, but that was in the past. Viva are the best at attracting a customer using extremely appealing marketing strategies. I was once one of viva's first customers during their start up, and was their customer for almost 3 years, and had more than 5 lines with them. During their start, any complain filed with viva would be taken seriously, and any opinion offered was cherished and appreciated. Viva customer service was considered to be the best for their politeness and their professionalism.

The Difference in marketing between batelco and viva...
after two years, viva ask me to take a new broadband package, supposedly because i would get a higher speed, and supposedly because i would get a new device. And I did take a newer package which costs more than my old package.  For the first 2 months with the new package, the average speed is around 14mbps on a 3G network, with excellent service. but just before viva launched their LTE service, i noticed a considerable drop in the download speed, from 14 to 0.88mbps. Even though the package contract states I would get speeds 'upto' 42mbps, but 0.88mbps is just ridiculous. Because I had faith in them, I waited for almost 2weeks hoping they would fix the issue, but the problem seemed to persist and not be resolved. They continued to stall and stall, and then finally after a constant 2 weeks of following up with viva, one of the representatives finally told me and I quote:" I apologise that we cannot meet your expectations, so if you are not happy, you may go and terminate the line"

The way that the customer representatives handled the situation was totally unprofessional, and may be the main reason why I am no longer a
viva customer. I terminated all 5 lines with viva, and I am on an anti-viva campaign as of the day that I terminated my lines. Viva is the worst. Viva bahrain service is ranked the worst. although they have appealing offers, but batelco's offers are also unbeatable. Viva offer one month of free LTE service, but Batelco offer 2 months free LTE service. Viva give people locked devices that can only be used with viva, but batelco use unlocked devices compatible with all carriers in bahrain. Viva vs. Batelco... batelco will always win. My suggestion to every one is simple, STAY AWAY FROM VIVA!

viva's arrogance is going to soon lead to there distraction. congratulations viva, you have lost one of your oldest customers, and will hopefully lose more, and take my word for it, you will. You never offered me any compensation of anykind for the trouble y
ou have caused, while batelco always offer a way to compensate for any problems we face. Good Job viva, keep up the bad service, and you will end up like zain bahrain.

Im not saying that batelco is perfect, but all I'm trying to say is viva, you have let me down and I am so shocked with the issue that has happened. We have an Arabic saying we always say, "the one eyed is always the king of the blind" and "stay with your crazy person, or else you will get the crazier". I made the mistake of choosing viva over batelco, but never again.

For the record, i will not just stop here, I am pursing a compliant with the TRA (telecomunication regulatory authority) and I will take this issue to the highest levels if i have to.

Moment of Realisation

People come and go, time passes, relationships are made and destroyed. One thing is for sure, that although people come and go, once they die, they are not coming back.

This friday was just like any other friday, and to me it was going quite well. We went to the cinema,
met up with some family members, then decided to go out for dinner. Dad realised that the car was running low on gas, so we went to the nearest fuelling station. It was the only one in that area. the line to fill up the car was long. Behind us was a black porsche. when finally it was our turn, it seemed to me that the owner of the porsche car was getting impatient as they cut off other cars and headed to the exit. 3 minutes later, we could hear screaming coming from the behind. Dad got out to see what was going on, and me the person i was simply assumed there was a fight. i wanted to get that fight on tape, so i got out of the car, and saw that a great number of people have gathered around the black porsche that had previously sped out. I started walking toward the car. i can see my dads head behind the car, but i didn't know what was going on. Then i heard a lady screaming! as i got closer i could see it all clearly. a mother and her two daughters where out this friday. one of the daughters lay there on the ground repeatedly vibrating. i had never seem anything like it. the mom was begging any one to help her. fuel station staff members had all left their posts and gone to see what was happening. The mother was begging people to help her, and the other daughter lay there crying. emergency services where notified. for he first time i could clearly see the truth. the lady was calling for help, people around her saw her, but gave her no attention. only a few
had the heart to leave the car and stand by the family till the EMS personal arrived. I just stood their looking at her, her mother begging people to help her and screaming, while her other daughter was sitting by next to her sister sobbing and crying. for the first time, i saw how helpless people are and how no matter what god decides, you many not evade it. around 15 minutes later, i could see the ambulance coming, and to be honest i don't blame them for there tardiness, as traffic in bahrain is on so congested. At that point, people who where honking, stopped, and people who where sitting in the car angry that the fuel station staff were too busy with the lady finally got out of the car and offered to help. EMTs took her away, and we then went on to the restaurant. But after that incident, you can consider my day has ended. I kept remembering the sister calling her father, but he couldn't make it for some reason. I still visualise the way people where sitting in the car, and all they cared about was fuelling the car and leaving. I don't think i will ever get the image of the mom beside her daughter calling her softly and asking her to wake up. I don't know why god decided to do that to them. was it a test? or a punishment? or was it just that bad things happen to good people?... even though I don't know the girl, i still feel so sorry for her. thoughts of me being in the same situation came up and i remembered the day i called 999 and they never came. I never thought a mother could live to see her daughter go from between her hands. no parent should live to see their child die. children should live to barry the parent, that the way life works...

STEAL FROM ME ON MY TERRITORY?!

lately with bahrain's growing economy, many Indian expats have moved here, as well as many other multicultural expats. please don't take this the wrong way, but if you experience what i do with these indian workers you would think that what i am doing is perfectly rational.

Arabs
One hard working indian expat in
bahrain that I respect
An indian expat comes to bahrain, he gets a job, home, food, drinks, and anything else he desires. keep in mind many of the bahraini population are unemployed and have problems finding the proper job, as these Insane Indians are given the priority. when i refer to the indians i do not talk about those who work daily making less than minimum wage here in Bahrain, and work 18 hours a day 7 days a week, rather i sympathise with these workers cause they respect you and understand the concept that they are here in my country as guests.

An arrogant Indian taking the
place of a hard working arab
bahrain's expat population has reached nearly 50% of the whole population. Indians make up the majority. every where in manama, our capital, you can find an indian shop, and the only people you see around you on the streets are the indians! its like Manama has become Mumbai! a couple weeks ago, an indian contractor had offered his contracting skills to expand our family business and build an extra floor on our building. and so, what we did was we gave him the job. Once he received the job, everything went south, where he used crapy material, crapy labour, and did not meet any type of recognised safety standard. YES, the indian tricked us! well it didn't stop there, he went on  taking stuff off the property saying that we gave him the permission to do so. these items were expensive things, all costing more than $3000! he stole from me, and in my own country!

Bahraini who has a degree in marketing.
he has been jobless for 12 years.
Father of  5, now livnig on the streets.
I was shocked, and so was every one else. I threatened to take him to the police for theft, but he didn't care, as he said anyone could have taken an if the objects, due to the fact he failed to secure the site with a security watch man. WELCOME to  the middle east, where we get coned by indians. he comes to my country as a guest but acts as though its his country and I'm the guest. Indians here no longer have any respect for Bahraini natives! not only that but they also steal from us!!!! WTF!! like seriously, this is the free market economy.

I figure if i go to the United States of America, i would  be beaten up by US passport holders if i was disrespectful and stole from them! All
i ask is of the expat indians to respect me and my country! again I don't say that all indians are like that, rather most are here in bahrain. Don't be fooled by there culture, and the news, they are a group people who leave there country and jump after the money from country to another.

Thus I promiss to make the next indian regret he ever disrespected me or offended my nation.

Tents vs Buildings

LOve and hate Love and hate make us human U love gOd ur parents ur wife... U hate ur teacher ur class mate ur co workers... This is how life is I live In a part of the world that no one can differentiate between real love and loyalty and hate Every day that passes by is another day which opens doors wide and allowing the entrance of new tradions as well as new thoughts Have u ever wondered why the Arabs are not Rising fast enough??? Why the Arabs are not wanted here in the world?? Why even though Arabs try to fit in they r rejected by society and thrown out and always portrayed the Arabs as people who ride camels and live in tents? For every nation to rise it must go throw rough patches, every one has that right; not only the USA has this right.

Can The Speed of Light Be Broken?

speed of light
Scientists at CERN the home of the Large Hadron Collider, are puzzled by some new experimental results that could change the way we think about the basic laws of Physics forever.
The results from experiments that they have been performing seem to imply that a certain type of particle has been breaking the speed of light!
These results are based on statistical measurements that Dr Ereditato – who carried out the experiments, has opened up to the wider scientific community to try and validate.
As many will know, the speed of light is the theoretical speed limit of the Universe, and so far all the experimental results over many years have borne this out. Dr Ereditato and his team were performing an experiment to see how many mu-on neutrinos turned into tau neutrinos when fired from CERN, to an underground lab at Gran Sasso in Italy over 700Km away.
The results from these tests seemed to show that the neutrinos were turning up slightly earlier than anticipated. We are only talking billionths of seconds here but that is a very significant result.
So, could this be a momentous point in history when the basic laws of physics are turned on their head? Or will it turn out to be a ‘Gremlin’ in the experimental procedures and the basic laws of Physics remain intact?
Let us know what you think in the comments below. Meanwhile, this will be worth keeping an eye on.

what is Pythagorean?

well all i know about it is it is a way to find missing sides of a triangle. its formula is  a^2 + b^2 = c^2\!\,
the diagram might help

Triangle 1
The triangle -1- is just proof of Pythagoras... and i put it because it is animated. Triangle -2-  is the big thing. If you apply the formula to it, you'll get the any missing side. For example, if you only had 4 & 3 which are the legs, you would square them, and find the sum of them both together. This would then give you the hypotenuse which is 5.  Now i know your wondering what is the hypotenuse, well its the side opposite to the right angle in a triangle, and in other words, its the largest side. in the formula, it is represented as (C).  (A) &(B) are the legs of the right angle. in other words they are the other 2 shorter sides. In the case of the triangle (345), the a=3, b=4. doesn't matter what the A or B take, we can call the 4=A and the 3=B. to find any missing of a right angle triangle, all you need to do is plug in the missing side, and .. wallah you will get the answer. Triangle 3 ( the diagram) is just the layout of sides.
Triangle 2

The following is taken from another website, just a little about Pythagorean:
Triangle 3

"Pythagoras lived in the 500s BC, and was one of the first Greek mathematical thinkers. He spent most of his life in the Greek colonies in Sicily and southern Italy. He had a group of followers (like the later disciples ofJesusPythagoreans were known for their pure lives (they didn't eat beans, for example, because they thought beans were not pure enough). They wore their hair long, and wore only simple clothing.
Pythagoreans were interested in philosophy, but especially in music andmathematics, two ways of making order out of chaos. Music is noise that makes sense, and mathematics is rules for how the world works.

Pythagoras himself is best known for proving that the Pythagorean Theorem was true. The Sumerians, two thousand years earlier, already knew that it was generally true, and they used it in their measurements, but Pythagoras is said to have proved that it would always be true. We don't really know whether it was Pythagoras that proved it, because there's no evidence for it until the time ofEuclid, but that's the tradition. Some people think that the proof must have been written around the time of Euclid, instead."*

Funny soccer

Today Bahrain played against Iran in a soccer tournament. Bahrain was the away team while Iran were the home. Bahrain scored zero, Iran scorred 6. The point here is Iran won and Bahrain lost. Was it a fair match? Or was Iran cheatting? Or did the bahrain national team delibretly lose the game? Something is fishy! What's your opinion people? Fair not fair? Type.

What are the Arabs to me?

well, the Arabs to me are civilized people, although like all great societies are now passing threw some really rough patches. this time for them is like puberty. many people might consider the Arabs as savages or as Bedouins. people of the world would imagine them in tents, with camels, and smoking shesha. well the Arabs are actually in the developing process, some of them have even reached the stage that they are know on of the most developed countries in the world e.g. United Arabian Emirate, Dubai. And for every ones information, the Arabs are not good friends with Iran, for Iran has always wanted to take over the middle east and always wanted to spread it thoughts and governmental system. now, as i said, Arabs are actually peace full and aren't usually animals, but every one goes threw puberty, and most of you how have experienced it probably know that it is a time of disobedience, lies, and rebellious behaviour. so this is my opinion of the Arabs, and i don't see then as savages, but  i sympathise because every great nation to be great needs to have a taste of whats sour. i am living among them, and i hear what each one has to say. Thanks :)
